The Inn Building at the
Breakwater Inn

Built in the 1800’s, the historic Inn Building at The Breakwater Inn & Spa features 20 unique guest rooms. The lobby features glass doors opening out to the deck and lawn along the river’s edge. Clean, contemporary wood floors and a saltwater fish tank enhance the classic coastal Maine architecture and charming décor.

​Reflecting Kennebunkport’s maritime heritage, all accommodations at the Inn are appointed with beautiful furnishings, soothing color palettes and classically styled fabrics. Each private bath features a Bethel white stone vanity, silk and terry spa-style robes and fine bath amenities by Gilchrist and Soames.

Please note that Inn Building Rooms do not have elevator access and may require a number of steps. If this is a concern please inquire with us directly. Check-in for both buildings takes place in the Spa building, located at 127 Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport (about 50 yards from the Inn building).
